Being a grandparent is the one thing in life that isn't overrated.

Some hobbies/interests (in no particular order): Linux, accessibility, spirituality, land use/transit/urbanism, politics (and, more generally, trying to figure out how best to look at situations).

I'm a (recovering) software engineer by trade, an electronics hobbyist and amateur guitarist by night, and a house-rabbit enthusiast and ambassador all the time.

I live in the windswept prairies of Canada.

I like fixing things and taking things apart to figure out how they work. I volunteer at the local Repair Cafe and enjoy helping others with their broken stuff.

Georgia based visual artist. I spent a decade working in cubicle land and then took a career break to travel that never exactly ended. I support myself with my Digital Art and Photography - Do I miss a steady paycheck? Some days, yes, but overall I love creating too much to imagine going back.

Currently raising funds for cataract surgery (see links for details).

Don't know how my media tab became a 1980s pop culture zone. That stuff first arose only in my replies to folks, not my own posts. But then I began to lean into it.
